This unique breathable backing material helps wick heat away through the attachment side and advanced vented backing plates like the TORQ R5 DA series and the TORQ22D vented backing plate. Cool pads last longer and produce more consistent and even polishing results. This backing pad is a perfect fit for every standard backing plate, and leaves a quarter of an inch of the buffing pad to hang over all around. This beveled edge helps ensure that the backing plate and machine housing can never rub against the paintwork or the surface being polished.
