Making Tough Grinding Easier
Small and very durable, 3M™ Roloc™ Green Corps™ Abrasive Disc has multiple features built in to make grinding jobs easier and faster for collision repair professionals. Self-fracturing aluminum oxide abrasive stays sharper longer and is available in very coarse grits to handle the toughest jobs. Discs are green in color with durable cloth backing. And convenient Roloc™ quick change attachment system makes it easy to switch between grades and jobs in seconds, including a color-coded button that identifies the grade of the disc for accuracy as well as speed.
Sharp, Bonded Abrasive for Heavy Stock Removal
The aluminum oxide mineral abrasive on 3M™ Roloc™ Green Corps™ Abrasive Disc provides a sharp cut — more aggressive than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade, and vital in a grinding disc. Abrasive grains are bonded to heavy reinforced cloth backing with a durable, heat-resistant resin. A range of coarse grits make these discs ideal for rust and paint removal, spot weld cutting, gasket removal and metal shaping. 3M™ Roloc™ Green Corps™ Abrasive Disc is av ailable in small 2" and 3" diameters for accurate cutting in hard-to-reach places.
The Right Grade for the Right Job — Roloc™ Attachment System
3M's Roloc™ attachment system provides a quick yet secure method of attaching a wide variety of quality abrasive discs to rotary tools. Each Green Corps Abrasive Disc has a plastic threaded button that is color-coded by its grade, making it easy to select the right disc for the application at a glance. The disc screws into a disc pad or disc holder (sold separately) with a short twist, and is removed just as easily. The disc pad or disc holder can be used with any standard 1/4" drill or air tool. This simple assembly provides a secure attachment that is reliable even when working at high speeds. It saves time, too: operators can conveniently change the discs with the same simple twist-off, twist-on motion, and swap grades and jobs in seconds.
