Air Blow Guns & Accessories

Blow Guns

Cleaning your workplace may happen to be more tiring and time consuming than some repair projects. But leaving your workshop or garage messy after a productive day’s work is also not an option. So instead of spending another couple of hours cleaning up, try using a powerful blow gun that will do the job quickly. This air-operated tool is perfect for keeping your work space free from dust as well as removing dirt from machinery and tools.

As the tool’s name implies, the blow gun is a gun-shaped tool powered by the continuous flow of compressed air. Typically, this high-pressure cleaning tool consists of a handle with an air inlet (common inlet sizes are 1/4", 1/8", 3/4" and 3/8"), a trigger that allows you to effectively regulate the air flow, a lightweight aluminum or nylon body and a nozzle with a rubber tip that protects the target surfaces and objects from scratching. A stream of pressurized air produced by the pneumatic blow gun can easily blast things clean, removing dirt, grime, and grease in a matter of minutes.

Blow guns are available in an entire array of shapes and sizes. Apart from the standard blow guns, there are angled nozzle, telescoping, spray, bullet, pocket, and lever blow guns. Angled blow guns feature a nozzle angled at 40 degrees for additional comfort of reaching into confined spots. Angled nozzle blow guns are commonly available in 3", 11" and 14" sizes. Telescoping blow guns feature a slim nozzle that may extend up to 24" in length. Telescoping blow guns will come in handy for cleaning hard-to-access areas of equipment and machinery as well as removing dirt and debris from crevices, galleries, and other places.

Pocket blow guns feature a lightweight aluminum body with a knurled tip for secure handling and total length of approximately 4". These compact air-operated tools provide easy air control and can be carried around thanks to a pocket clip feature. Lever type blow guns feature an easy-to-operate lever instead of a commonly used trigger that makes its body even more compact. Lever design blow guns blow out clogged pipes and tubes and usually feature a hang up hook to secure the tool on the pipe. Spray blow gun can spray oils, solvents, cleaners, and coatings or remove grease and grime from engines and engine bays.
