Issues happen, and any metal surface can be dented during a collision or accident. If you need to fix a dent by yourself rather than pay to have it done for you, you will need dent repair tools to work on that. If damage is not too serious, and paint coating remains intact, PDR (i.e. painless dent repair) tools can help – they don't require spackling and repainting to get dented areas fixed. The process usually involves pulling out dents by means of suction tools and glue. This method works only for minor or smooth dings and dents and requires certain skills. Deep scratches and more serious damages to the metal surfaces will require more tools, labor, and efforts to fix.
You can select dent repair tools depending on your needs, expectations, and complexity of damage. If that is your first dent removal project, and you haven’t obtained any special tools yet, you may be interested in purchasing a dent removal kit including most essential tools. If you go this way, make sure you have basic tools included in your kit. These are glue sticks, puller, glue gun, wires, door hooks, hammer, knock down tool, and so on.
