Flare nut wrenches are basic tools used in the automotive field, plumbing, and various repairs. They are visually similar to their box-end counterparts, yet with two substantial differences. First, the “box” is open, as a small part of the end section is missing so that the wrench can go over a tube or line to grip the nut.
