0.86 lb Shrinking Hammer (162FG) by Martin Sprocket®. Body Hammers are drop forged from high carbon steel, heat treated, quenched and have tempered heads. They have a burnt lacquer finish, Grade B (or better), and Hickory wooden handles or cushion grip fiberglass handles. The hammer was one of the basic hand tools around which the body and fender repair trade was developed. The shrinking hammer is used for work in close quarters. It has expertly machined serrations on the round face.
