Red Heat™ R983 3" 36 Grit Ceramic Alumina Quick Change Disc (25 Pieces) by Norton®. Remove stock, blend welds and deburr rough patches easily with this Red Heat R983 coarse grit TS (Type II) quick-change cloth disc, which works especially well with stainless steel, cast iron and soft carbon steels. An advanced self-lubricating grain helps keep the disc cool, while the premium ceramic alumina abrasive blend cuts fast to help you work more quickly. Crafted with single-ply laminate and a Y-weight Plus backing, the disc provides long-term durability combined with increased flexibility to help conform to non-standard work surfaces. The disc outlasts aluminum oxide and zirconia discs in most applications.
