SideBurners: Modular Side-Exhausts

Introducing SideBurners modular side-exhaust from Stainless Works. Designed for a direct-fit, stealthy, 304 stainless steel, mandrel-bent, side-exhaust system enhances the sound of your muscle car. SideBurners side-exhaust bolts to the factory exhaust, and exits on both sides, just in front of the rear tires, amplifying and adding a muscle-car growl to your ride!

SideBurners are designed to get the best sound from your vehicle's factory exhaust by amplifying the muscle-car tone, and they are backed by our life time warranty on material and workmanship.

SideBurners modular side-exit exhaust system easily installs to the factory exhaust and exits in front of both rear tires.

Factory Connect VS Performance Connect

Stainless Works is different than competitors in that offer a variety of designs and options for one system. One aspect that sets apart is various connection points. The offer OEM "Factory Connect" option, which mates to a factory connection point and also the offer "Performance Connect" options for many models.

"Performance Connect" was developed to help vehicles gain more performance than the standard factory connection point allows, and "Performance Connect" systems require the installation of both Stainless Works headers and exhaust to fit properly and gain the full performance benefit.

Features of Performance Connect:

True-Dual Performance In most cases, if a factory system uses a Y-Pipe, "Performance Connect" systems will use an X-Pipe, making it a "True-Dual" system

Consistent Diameter - Often times connecting to a factory system often requires swaging or necking down the diameter to fit (for example: 3" inch down to 2-1/2"), "Performance Connect" systems maintain a consistent diameter, which increases flow and power.

Integrated Spike

Small details can make a big difference when it comes to performance.

That's why proud to introduce the newest feature to line of exhaust systems: the integrated merge spike. Designed to promote better airflow, all Stainless Works V8 long-tube headers are now manufactured with high-performance, integrated merge-spikes

Increased Power

Too much air resistance or back-pressure, can make it difficult for the cylinders to expel exhaust, restricting an engine's power. Merge spikes help reduce turbulence, which means less back-pressure; allowing your engine to unleash more power.

Better Scavenging

Inspired by race-system technology and performance dyno testing, the Stainless Works merge spike was developed to direct airflow towards the center of the collector, which helps promote scavenging.

Improved Sound

The other benefits of creating a more directional airflow is that the turbulence within the collector is reduced; improving performance, and generating a purer sound.

As with all of the Stainless Works products merge spike is made of durable, Everlast 304L Stainless Steel.

Stainless Works is the only manufacturer to build their mufflers entirely of stainless steel. Stainless Works mufflers will never "burn in," "blow out," or change their tone ever. Stainless Works mufflers are constructed of high quality, TIG welded 304 stainless steel with stainless steel wool packing and come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Turbo Chambered Muffler Loud

The chambered turbo design of this muffler offers a deep civilized muscle car rumble at idle and cruising speeds, but they really come to life when you jump on the throttle. These mufflers are great for a daily driver but are aggressive enough for your weekend racer for maximum flow and a very aggressive sound.

Chambered Round Muffler Louder

Also known as the "Retro Chambered," this muffler's exclusive louvered core creates a sweet "Street Rod" deep tone that is not overly aggressive. Mufflers are sized so that they can be reversed for an even more aggressive sound. Can be welded or clamped into place. The best tube style mufflers available! Custom lengths available: can produce these up to 60" long!

Turbo S-Tube Muffler Loudest

The straight through turbo design of this muffler offers maximum flow with a deep muscle car rumble at idle and cruising speeds and a very aggressive tone when you jump on the throttle. These mufflers could be used for a daily driver but may be considered too aggressive by some. For a more civilized daily driver muffler, it's best to stick with the Chambered Turbo above.
