657 Series™ Magnetic Base Arm by Starrett®. This versatile indicator arm has three pivots available for positioning the indicator where needed. All pivots are controlled by one tightening knob. Universal Indicator Holder Arm Assembly only.

- Works with any indicator with a 3/8" (9.5mm) stem (such as 25 and 650 and 651 Series)
- Works with any indicator with a standard dovetail mount (such as 708, 709, and 811 Series)
- Works with any indicator with a 1/4" (6.3mm) shank (such as 196 Series)
- Works with any indicator with a 3/16" (4.7mm) shank (such as 708, 709, 811 and 711 Series)
- Works with any indicator with a body clamp (such as 711 Series)
- The working area is within a hemisphere having a radius of approximately 12" (300mm)
- The very sensitive fi ne-adjustment is located on the magnetic base to eliminate indicator deflection when it is being adjusted
- The 657-3 Universal Indicator Holder Arm Assembly can also be used on the 659P Base using the 659 Thread Adaptor, PT18320
