Constant-Torque™ 4-5/8" x 3-3/4" SAE Silver Stainless Steel Constant-Tension Clamp (022445) by Velvac®. 1 Piece. Patented Belleville spring design eliminates "cold flow hose leaks" by automatically adjusting diameter for hose compression set or expansion/contraction of hose and fittings due to temperature changes. Recommended for bus, truck and heavy-duty equipment air intake and coolant connections. Extended inner liner covers worm gear slots to protect against extrusions and damage. Extended adjustment range permits fewer stocked parts.
Notes
- For proper installation, the Belleville spring washer stacks should be nearly collapsed flat and the screw tip should extend beyond 1/4". Using a torque wrench, tighten to recommended torque range.

The Vacuum Power Equipment Company opened its doors for business in 1934, beginning a long tradition of manufacturing air brake and valve components for heavy trucks.
